British Instagram model 'locked up in filthy Bangkok cell' over 2 passport pages

A British Instagram model claims she was locked up for 24 hours by Thai police who discovered she was missing two passport pages.

 

Lacey Montgomery-Henderson claims she was treated 'like an animal' by police in Thailand.

 

The 28-year-old says she was on a 10-day work trip to Bangkok when she was refused entry to the country after airport officials rejected the document, which she amended following a liquid spill years before.

 

The Glasgow Instagram influencer says that she was locked up in Bangkok police cell that was "overrun with cockroaches".

Great promotion for Thailand - Land of "Smiles"! Maybe the TAT could start a new campaign: "TLC: Thailand - Land of Cockroaches", or "TLC: Thailand - Land of Cop Terror"...

so she cuts 2 pages out of her passport and complains when she gets detained.

Well, the immi officers see daily the hundreds of Thais who are on their journey to perform the oldest profession know to man illegally in other countries

 

They thought "same same, but I no stupid farang"

So she’s known about the issue for a long time and didn’t bother to get a new one? No sympathy from me.

Well, I guess we can all agree she has a nice pair of..............rings on her fingers.

Although they get a lot of criticism on here, the immigration were quite correct to deny her entry, being in possession of a damaged/altered passport.

The question should be asked as to how she was allowed on the plane that brought her here in the first place.

An instagram influencer model is really a nice way of describing a unemployed self entitled snow flake millennial.shes messed with her passport and we all know what happens but this new breed seem to think they are above everyone else..what's the betting she didn't have a work permit too.

Kudos to the vigilant IO who spotted the error. It's not as easy as it sounds to spot a missing page in a UK passport. The page numbers are not very clear at all.

 

Obviously more vigilant than his British counterpart back in the UK.

She needs an old fashioned spanking .......

Assuming the news report is true, passport pages notwithstanding, I don't quite think that loads of cockroaches are supposed to be part of the deal...

 

Well, if you want to have your jollies and whatever in a police state run by a military junta then you need your stuff squared away on all fronts ... bet you would do this if you went to Russia/North Korea/China and Thailand isn't much different now.

To be realistic , entering any Country in the World with pages from your PP missing , you are quite probably going to get thrown in jail and deported

who wants to bet tomorrow someone from Thai immigration will be flying to London to interview her.

Seriously, no sympathy. You cut two pages out of your passport? And you're supposedly a respected Instagram Model who travels? Refused entry for damaged passport. 'nuff said
