Proposed new Thai laws

Featured Replies

Burning trash with plastic 1000 baht fine. Littering or dumping 1000 baht fine. Overly loud good karaoke singing  after 11 pm 1000 baht fine. Overly loud bad karaoke singing anytime 2000 baht fine. 50 % of the fine the police can pocket.

Yeh right. I believe in fairies too.

like all laws in thailand (both real and made up lol) they talk the talk but cant be bothered don't walk the walk.

The best new law, not yet signed into law, is the 5000 baht given to anyone who is willing to come forward and identify corruption within the immigration department...

When the law does go into affect...some brave people could become wealth overnight...

They are expected to use the funds to hire personal security until they can sneak out of the country...????

Focus more on getting Thai police on the roads 24/7 and handing out tickets to 95% of the drivers for speeding and breaking other road laws. They would be rich if they actually enforced the laws.

Oh how true this is, yesterday i drove from BKK to KK and i could write a best seller, didn't see 1 police man, other than the 3 check points, 2 in the space of 10 minutes, on a busy Sunday they would have been better out with numerous speed guns, but to give the smallest of credit they did stop a pick up with what look like 10 in the back, shame they hadn't stopped the one with the multiple fatalities 2 days ago
