If I enter Thailand from UK by air on UK passport I get stamped in for 30 days. I read that this might be extended for a further 30 days using local Immigration Office.

Is this so?

What is required to support the application?

A few days before your 30 days is up go to the Imm' office near you with your passport, copies of front pages and entry stamp page, fill in the form they give you and pay 1900 baht. If you're staying in a hotel confirm with them they have done a TM30 report, it might be needed depending on the local office.

Nearly forgot, a photo, same as your pp photo, copy of the landing card ( TM6 ) you got when you landed and went through Imm'.
