Jay Chow is huge in Chinese-language countries, but since he only sings in Mandarin, I wonder if he could be well known in Thailand ... maybe among the Chinese part of the population?

well maybe one day he can sing his way to thailand, for us we also love thai singer CHINA DOLL...and we love thai movie like ong bak and so on...

About on par with Rain; very famous here; good looking, translation sites to explain the songs and some people speak Mandarin/Korean anyway; about smilarly famous to April Lavigne, Joss Stone or similar (at a guess).
