Well, its mainly that Indian men can only do what Indian men like to do without their women around... mainly thats drinking ( which most Indian men do a lot of while hiding from the wife ) and if at all possible whoring.... just like most groups of men away that come to pattaya etc. They come in larger groups usually because they are used to being in large groups and more comfortable travelling in parties of, India's not a place for solitude and they arnt the most confident of people when compared to Europeans etc. 

 

If they can afford to get to Thailand then they can and do spend.... but dont tip as its not a cultural thing to do, so that wont make the girls in Pattaya very happy and being darker skinned with the Thai thing about it... well .. 

The working girls like money, whatever the colour of their customers skin. 

The male Indian Parties will do just fine.

Many girls are going with Indian men.  Many many more then I have seen before.  Mostly younger Indian males.

 

They do hang around MP's I agree walking around long enough they usually find a place that will take them in.

Whether we like it or not, we simply have to accept that the expanding middle class in Russia/ China/ India will bring those tourists here, especially as they're so close by. While for a European it costs a lot to fly to Thailand, I've seen ads in Indian newspapers for package holidays to Bkk and Pattaya, 4n/5d, starting as low as $ 500 pp, all inclusive. Obviously that attracts the lower middle class as well. The better off and more educated Indian goes to Koh Samui, Krabi etc (in Thailand) and to Europe/ US outside. 

I was in Hua Hin last winter for almost a month and surprised by the number of Indian families hosting big fat weddings at resorts - apparently, it was working out cheaper for them than in India, go figure!

I have seen a handful of fat ugly Thai (assumed Thai) ladies hanging around hotels that cater for Indian tours - see it daily, they are a small group of short time India groupies who have no other choice than a baht150 30min pop

 

PS - they look far from happy to be there

To get defined in India as middle class earner you have an income of $2 - 10 per day/person. That's just the minimum wage of Thailand's 300B scheme and I don't see that these people will travel in mass abroad and spending 50K per person/holiday.
if you refer to the millions of indian works abroad in the Middle East.
The first group, all odinary labour just earn enough money to support their families at home and they will not spend any money on a holiday in Thailand.
The second group, the educated ingeeners and upper middle class will enjoy their holiday in the West. I had just recently a flight from Dubai to Zürich and it was packed with Indian.
What is left over are the bachelor who will enjoy the well know places in Thailand. Of course not without to bargain. But this is only a makeshift because of the women shortage in their on country. Therefore, Thailand will stick to what it is known for and the military can jump in circles nothing will change.

True, i was behind a young indian guy last night in walking street beetwen the Insomnia disco and beach road.

Even well dressed and alone the poor guy has been stopped at each gogobar of the street

by the security and they denied him the right of entry showing him the part of the street

reserved for them (From Insomnia disco to the pier).

 

Honestly i was a little bit sad for him, he probably just wanted to have a good time and maybe

was willing to pay for it....

 

...Or not, i presume the security guards have a few of good reasons to act like that.

We are going a little bit off topic but i don't think it's racism

after all we are only one race, the human race aren't we?

It's more the behaviour of some groups, usualy identified by countries in a touristic zone like Thailand.

For example the frenchs and the australians are stingy, the englishs are drunkards and brawlers and that kind of generalities, usualy based on the behaviour and on the first impression left by most of them.

You can still meet some nice guys, including indians, but unfortunately for them

a lot of bars don't want to take the risk if they have had a recurrent problem with

a certain group of people.

They dont seem to worry about wearing swim trunks in the pool. 

It’s  usually whatever undies they have been wearing for the day.
