Clean polished shoes are a must. Carry the jacket over your arm, put it on if others are wearing jackets, if not on the back of the chair.

Seriously though, if you want some serious advice the nature of the meeting is helpful, without disclosing your private business..

 

ie: You got something they want or they got something you want. Is it professional in nature...

 

I have this terrible problem too, it usually end's up in me putting the suit jacket on just before I enter the premises, and taking it off at the meeting table.

Where is the meeting? Somewhere on the beach? Or maybe in an expensive hotel?

 

Maybe meet them in Hooters. Shorts are obviously ok in that place. ????

True, attend a meeting in China in shorts to try to win a contract, the meeting will be over before it starts.
