I don't know how large the bottles are but you are talking about an increase of approx $1.50 (US) for water that will last you several days if not more. Take that out to an entire year and it's only $75 dollars or so. WHY even comment on it as it's such a menial amount of money? The doubling of price is surprising but it's a small amount of money. Not worth the time complaining about it. With all respect, it was just an example, in my opinion, worth to mention roughly speaking. If all the other stuff would also increase that way, it would be annoying. I only have a certain amount of cash for particular stuff.

It must be so tough for you, all these pretty Thai girls trying to have their wicked way with you. Ever thought of sharing your good fortune? Short-term rentals in CM and CR increase in the high season. Apart from that, I haven't noticed any price hikes. However, I drink at home, not in bars. Refer Billy Joel "Piano Man".
November 4, 20196 yr If there is any place in the world that doesn’t raise its prices during high season- I haven’t found it. This is universal, not specific to Thailand. Most businesses eke out a living in low season and have to make up for it in high season.
November 4, 20196 yr A lady selling whole water melons has just bumped her prices up from 15\20\25 to suddenly 25\30\35, i reckon it's because I've just started using her and so she wants more out of falang. Prices were 15\20\25 for weeks since i noticed the place

Others have certain days of the week where its happy hour all night.
November 4, 20196 yr There is no high season anymore, but it's going to take them a while to figure it out. ???? Have a great day
