snoop1130
The Simpsons fans are mad at Disney+ for altering classic episodes BY DAN SEDDON CHANNEL 4 Disney+ launched yesterday (November 12) in the US, but fans of The Simpsons are struggling with one element of the show on the streaming service. The first 30 seasons of the animated classic are included on the platform, the first 20 of which have been stretched out into the widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, meaning a whole universe of visual gags on the outskirts of the shot are being cropped out. This is because The Simpsons only adopted the widescreen format during season 20, but surely Disney should've learned from the mistakes of FXX, which stills air episode marathons in a similarly frustrating way. Posting on social media, The Simpsons' loyal fans have voiced their displeasure at the awkward aspect ratio of classic episodes. balo
I just download the episodes when needed. In the original format. Or you can just search for episodes on Youtube.
DoctorG
There are reports of Disney putting trigger warnings on the cartoons. Apparently the black crows might be a representation of [some people] and there also is a problem with Siamese cats for some reason that I do not understand.
