Grab the Panda

Featured Replies

Is it just me or have others noticed there are more and more Grab and Panda motorcycles on the road? I don't begrudge anyone from trying to make a living or celebrating a thriving business, but it seems as though these businesses have put even more motorcycles on the road nowadays, and you can bet there will be more compeition for the delivery market soon enough. The Grab and Panda drivers are trying to move along as quickly as possible and it makes the very dangerous roads in Thailand's bigger cities even more dangerous. Has anyone else had to encounter the Grab and Panda drivers weaving in and out of traffic or whipping out in front of you every day?

What's the ratio of Grab to Panda drivers that you're seeing?

I assume Grab is eating Panda's lunch.

Yep, you are spot on.  See those little food boxes attached to more and more motorcycles...all in a rush to get somewhere.

The amazing thing is...in spite of their continuous speeding...they seem to be driving relatively safely as they make their way through traffic...

They are not going away until drone delivery is perfected!  ????

I see them often and use them often they are not more dangerous in my opinion. I drive a motorbike and weave too. Nothing wrong with it if done carefully.

I have used Grab once, it was quick and very cheap.
