26th floor.... I would say yes.... rather big swings...

Same up here in Phayao Centrale @ 06:51

Yeah, didn´t feel too nice here on the 24th floor. The neighbours got so scared they wanted too leave the building because the building shook quite noticeably.

Time for a coffee now, I guess. ????

39th floor... i thought i was getting dizzy or hangover, doors and light fitting were swinging...

Yup, 6th floor BTS admin at Mochit.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Nothing in Isaan as usual and I was up at 3am

Apparently there was a quake in Laos this morning:

Correction

People were reporting tremors in Udon yesterday.

I’m on 23rd floor near Rachatewi and this place shook for at least a full minute. My dining room overhead light was rocking intensely. Woke me from a sound sleep. Surprised higher floors in Chiang Mai weren’t much worse.

That’s a lot more than a tremor 5.9!!

felt it in Silom on 7th floor. Thought I d come over a bit peculiar. Lots of squeeling from the girls in office.

You're correct, I have corrected my comment.

No worries. Just a little BOOM BOOM action from a few girls on the floor below. A girl has to make a living afterall and these girls are earning their money for sure.

I've felt strange for the last 3 days.  We've had several days of ZERO readings on the KP index,

here is a high correlation between what we are experiencing right now to stroke,  heart issues,  and mental issues.

Basically,   we are being hammered by cosmic particles because our star has flatlined based on the zero readings for the last several days on the KP Index (which means our magnetopause shielding is not there)   so the cosmic energy that is normally bounced off by our magnetopause is going into our planet,  and into our bodies.

Very high likelihood of Earthquake activity as well,   because of all of that energy into the planet means motion.

Russian Professor Alexander Tchijevsky (also spelt Chizhevsky) presented the paper “Physical Factors of the Historical Process.” The paper examined the cyclical variations in the sunspot number of the Solar Cycle in order to create a mass index of human excitability throughout history. He found that revolutions and periods of intense fighting seemed to occur during Solar Maxima – the period of greatest activity in the 11-year solar cycle of the Sun – while cultural flourishing and social cohesion tended to occur during Solar Minima."

"Based on previous research, Tchijevsky postulated that:

The influence of the Sun on the human organism results in chemical changes in the pigment of the skin, in the chaining of the heart-beat, in the alterations in the chemical composition of the blood and the latter results in changes in the general condition of the organism and its nervous tonicity (Lenkei, Behring, Hasselback, Nogler, Aimes, Rollier, Revillet, Marques, d’Oelsnitz, Robin, Moleshott, Loeb, I. Newton, Professor Bechtereff, Lombroso).

Given that the varying amount of the Sun’s energy received by the different climatic zones has such a great influence on humanity, Tchijevsky posed the question: do the periodical changes of the Sun’s activity resulting in the amount of the emitted innumerable streams of electrical particles and electromagnetic waves also have an influence upon humanity?"

Hang on to your hat.   We've got a Meteor storm incoming... Exciting times

Felt it in CM this morning. Had a feeling it wasn't a local one, they tend to be more abrupt or rolling. This one shook the building and caused leaves on the trees to "knock together".

Yeah. Had a sleepless night and was just having coffee getting my son ready for school. Felt my body sway and thought it was me getting dizzy. Then noticed the curtains, baby swing and coffee in cup all swaying left to right. 26th floor in Ekkamai

I think it could have been swaying right to left as well. I thought my household things were swaying back and forth.

For me in CM, oblivious sitting at my desk except for my dogs started barking.

I'm in Laos,  just up the road from the epicenter.  Didn't feel a thing.....

Damn - that Beer Lao last night was good ????

Much of the percieved motion has to do with the geography and "dirt under your feet"    Some landforms are better at transmitting kinetic energy than others.

If you are on soft earth,  it is going to feel different than if you are on a Granite slab.

having experienced every Southern California Los Angeles earthquake from 1955 I can tell you a 6.4 can be a good jolt. Duration and depth have a lot to do with the amount of damage as well as soil conditions and building codes.

Over the decades the State of California retrofitted every freeway over pass with much larger round support posts that are filled with rebar. Just yesterday I was in Bangkok and thinking how high and extremely thin the overpass support posts are holding up the highway.

I wonder if the Thais have inspected the dams in the north yet? Or the hundreds of small bridges on the highways?
