I'm a renter, and Thailand Elite is advising me that the owner of my condo must submit the TM30 report at CW for me.

The owner has already furnished me with all the required documents.

The TE rep states that in order to file the TM30 report myself, I would need a power of attorney doc signed by the owner.

Just wondering how the advice I'm receiving jibes with TVF members' own personal experiences at CW?

Thanks for any input.

Also possible to do via the section 38 app (may need apk download). To apply for password as possessor of residence, should only need to upload copy of passport ID page and first page of rental contract.

As already mentioned you can file via mail or online as "posssessor". Might be way to go given bit of stuffing around from owner. All you will need from him is lease. Many threads in past with guidelines what's required.

I did my own TM-30 in Chiang Mai Nov 18, literally took less than a minute.

For your first one you need TM-30 Form and copies.

if you have an existing TM-30 all you need is Passport, no copies, no Form.

In Chiang Mai DO NOT get que on ground floor, go directly to 3rd Floor, you get TM-30 que up there.

Came home, logged in, then let my wife a Register and in a few minutes had Username and Password
