When replying to a thread there is a an Attachments window directly below the area where you type your response... it has a drop down box titled Manage Current Attachments, and a Browse button, and a green UPLOAD button. Click Browse..., select the image file that you want to attach and click Open..., click UPLOAD..., click somewhere in the body of your post reply where you want the image placed..., click Manage Current Attachments (1) and click on the filename of the uploaded image. The attachment should appear in your draft post. If you click Preview Post you'll see if it worked or not before you click Add Reply. MiG16 Posted April 2, 2007 Author Share Posted April 2, 2007 Jaidee...Ive tried that many many times...it just doesnt work I cant believe its taken 3 threads to sort this out and its still on going its gotten longer than my chocolate thread that I intend to post the pics on anyhow..I guess chonabot gets the first choccie bribe ok trying the attachment button again and still same result. this pic is here only cos of the post link into image button...so I guess chonabot gets half the choccie? This is just after you hit Reply or Add Reply and the applet is initializing. This is after it is initialized but before Browse image. This one after clicking on the Browse button and selecting the image on your disk. This is after hitting the UPLOAD button (how long it stays depends on file size and network speed). This shows when clicking on "Manage Current Attachments" This one shows the link added into the post after selecting the attachment This is the resulting image after those steps. Made your file double the size, sorry, but it does upload as normal, less that your 10 mins, just a couple for me in Thailand, using i.e. 6.0 xp. Grover Posted April 2, 2007 Share Posted April 2, 2007 mig I have a similar problem as you. The pic I wanted to upload was about 700k in size, and it just seemed to get nowhere. So I tried to resized the image to about 80k and it attached fine. So in my case, the size seemed to matter. Maybe try a really small pic (like a smiley) and see if it attaches ok.
