Hi,

My Non-B visa was issued followed my passport expired date which fall on 10 Aug 2020.

Would I still possible to enter Thailand after 10 Feb 2020 which my passport less than 6 months validity?

If I make a new passport before 10 Feb 2020, can I enter Thailand with old and new passport and get the visa stamp transfer to my new passport?

Thanks for any advice.

Depending on nationality you can enter the country with a passport that is valid for the length of your stay. Some airlines though still follow the 6 month rule though.

If you get a new passport outside the country you would show both passports on entry to use the re-entry permit in the old one for entry to the country. Then you would need to go to immigration to have your stamps transferred to the new one.

Thanks for your clarification, Joe.

Btw, I'm from Malaysia.

Will skip the risk of rejecting by airlines because of passport validity < 6 months.

Plan to renew it before 10/Feb/2020.
