The ones in Thailand are imported from Australia, and are

expensive, they could grow them here,as they are already

growing carrots,Kohlrabi, and leeks, I wish the kings Project here in

Chiang Mai would grow them ,swedes as well,

I think the Royal Project may grow them.  I purchased some several months ago in the Royal Project section of Gourmet Market; Emporium.  Perhaps grown on a small scale, most going to restaurants.

I like roasted vegetables and the parsnips I roasted along with cauliflower & leeks were delicious.

What!!?? B169 = £4.30... Asda UK, 500g for £0.20. Thailand, land of rip-offs. UK: Heinz soup, 4 cans for £1. Thailand: 1 can for £2.

Tesco long grain rice £2.25kg. In Thailand not very much.

Imported products can be expensive in any country, although I take your point that certain imported foods in Thailand are a bit shocking.

We're not in the UK, we're in Thailand!   The UK price is irrelevant to the OP's question which was "where can I buy parsnips" (in Bangkok).  What have soup prices in the UK got to do with parsnips' price in Bangkok?
