BOI/Amity Business Capitalization Requirements

Featured Replies

I already know I'm doing many things completely out of order, but its worth a shot asking anyways...

I've purchased XX,XXX USD of technology for personal research / hobby. After success, I'm now considering turning the hobby into a company in Thailand. The different company structures like Thai or Amity (I'm American) and BOI/SMART visa requirements have various capital requirements.

Can any of the previous technology assets I've personally purchased and brought to Thailand be considered in the company capitalization amount? Is it a very strict administration process (ie Thai Baht in a Thai Bank Account for minimum of 3 months) or is it pretty much a case-by-case basis mixing physical assets + foreign non-pension savings abroad + local Thai baht?
