December 17, 20196 yr Having a problem with Barclays online banking since the latest Chrome browser update - Version 79.0.3945.79 (Official Build) (64-bit) The site will load and lets me log in in the usual way. The page that gives my account details then loads but then freezes - none of the links work and i can't even log out. Barclays haven't been much help but, to be honest, I don't think that it's a problem with their app. The problem seems to only occur on Chrome and Chrome-related browsers - Chromium and Brave have the same issue. No problem with Firefox or Opera. I'm not sure just when the trouble started - I don't log onto online banking that often but everything was OK last month. There have been updates to both Chrome and Chromium in the last few days so I'm suspecting that something has gone wrong somewhere. Anyone out there experienced the same problem? Any thoughts?
December 17, 20196 yr Author Yes, i can always do that but I'm just puzzled as to why things suddenly stopped working. I suppose that it's possible that the next Chrome update may fix things.
