Kerry Express - Pick Up at Depot?

Featured Replies

If you are not going to be able to be at home to receive a package, is it possible to go and pick it up yourself at a local depot?

Anyone have any experience of the local courier firms allowing this?

I never tried to pick it up at their depot, but in general the delivery guys seems to be quite flexible, so i guess this would be possible.

When i'm not at home when they call and it's nothing very expensive i tell them to just put it outside of the house (but i'm living in a gated moobaan, at a public road i would not do this). If it's something with COD i give the money to somebody in the moobaan office and tell the delivery guy to bring it there. Was never a problem for them.

I suppose a lot depends on the local depot but mine always lets me pick up, in fact I've just picked a package up today.

Yep, I've picked up from the depot.

I would much rather pick it up at the depot that wait around for hours (or days) till they deliver. How do you arrange this? Ring the depot with your order number? Would they understand English?

It looks like my order is going to arrive tomorrow and I'll be about. The question's a bit moot now but thanks for all the feedback.
