OA Extension, Nonthaburi...report..

Was not given a number, yesterday...fairly simple issues...they want to see the original certificate for insurance..they also want copies of most of your folder.  It took PC a week, and the agent met me at the pier and gave me the package..just allow time to take care of that..people coming from abroad have been showing the ecopy at Swampy, but be warned you may need the originals for extension.  My policy starts at 16:31 on the first day of my new extension, and that was fine.  Second issue, was I use fixed deposits, and there was no entry for the day of the letter...I protested that, to no avail, but went back to cimb and added 10,000 to each of my two FD accounts.  I had it set up with a 400k and a 450k so they never matured at the same time.  The young IO really didn't see that as brilliant, and was encouraging me to use a single account, but also gave me the info about not letting it drop below 400k..and it will be checked next year..no special trips or bank <deleted> with 90 day reports, which incidentally can now be done online, but he didn't know how long that has been working..I hadn't done a 90 since June.  Caught them shorting me a year..Jan 2020, instead of 2021..so make darn sure you check your stamp before you leave..could cause a disaster.  I was the first customer at cimb mahanak at 830 this morning..was about to jump on canal boat to head office in Chit Lom...very few of them are masters of immigration stuff..certainly a strike against them..but now I know what Nonth wants...but the IOs have no idea how difficult it can be to open a new account..yeah, I have seven, but still...their stories change by the hour.  Feeling pretty bad about things, yesterday...much better, today.  Just stay calm and try not to insult them...Will answer any questions on this matter, if asked.
