A dental assistant told the Thai press that a drunk foreigner in a white pick-up had plowed through a wall at her property and gone into their house.

A video showed the vehicle as people shouted obscenities and called for the police.

Atthaporn Wongcharoen, 28, showed reporters the damage on Sunday after the incident around 11.30 pm on Saturday night.

Her boyfriend had given chase but lost the person responsible. A report has been filed with the Pattaya police after the incident in Soi Wat Bun Kanchanaram in Bang Lamung.

The foreigner was reported to be drunk after drinking at a nearby restaurant since early evening.

The vehicle was a Mazda BT 50.

Reporters found an external breeze block wall demolished, the main structure of the house damaged and a tank broken.

The owner wants the foreigner to come forward to accept responsibility for the damage.

It would seem the foreigner has been in Thailand too long ad has adopted some of the local customs.

Eee by gum, if they catch him I bet he'll be indentured to the houseowner.

Would have thought it wont take long in finding the culprit

His vehicle would have quite a bit of damage on it

Once they find the oaf who clearly is unable to control himself give him the maximum sentence under Thai law and if that means an extensive stretch give him the absolute lot

My son was knocked down on a pedestrian crossing in the uk by one of these lunatics

She calls him "it" a few times.

All that commotion for a couple of scratched hollow blocks.

No excuse for been DUI. Hopefully not difficult to find him and prosecute to the full extent of the law.

She took them off for the video !    LOL

A post containing an unnecessary correction has been removed as the error was pointed out earlier.  A reply was removed as well.

They know he was drinking at a near by restaurant and drunk, they know he's a foreigner ... they know him.

Why they want him to come forward? Why does the police not just get him, in time before even this article could have been written, next day?

Sounds weird to me. Shouldn't be that difficult to catch an identified farang, with a damaged vehicle and hangover, next morning?
