Of course the OP says it's a 'live' grenade, but as someone already pointed out, it's the Mills Bomb type, also known as the Cadbury Bomb because everyone gets a square.

 

However 'live' and 'armed' are two different things. It needs a fuse inserting into it, otherwise you might as well throw a brick.

 

So was it armed? If not, it's an ornament.

I cant wait to get my Nomad Naked .30 suppressor. 10 month wait in the USA, but worth the wait. 

I wonder if that yellow ring around it gives an indication of who it was meant for.  ????
