Watch with resin band - sweating?

Featured Replies

I think about buying a Casio G-Shock watch with a resin band.

I am concerned that maybe it will feel uncomfortable in the heat.

Does anybody of you wear such a watch regularly in the heat? What is your experience.

This is a picture of a similar watch with such a resin band.

I have one of those "fit" style watches that has a silicone/resin type band it causes havoc, blotchy ecsema type reaction if I forget to take it off at night.

I was thinking maybe consult Prawit but I guess he would not know of anything this mundane.

Thanks for the info. I can't really click "Like" in this case...

I always had a supply of tennis stretch woven wrist bands

 - firstly, sleeved the band around the unfolded sleeve.

 - clip the watch/band around it.

 - folded the other half of the sleeve back over the watch

( can make similar, by severing the top of a pair of (tennis) socks, to make a quick sleeve) - besides the retail one is basically the same thing, only properly stitch finished...

Foolish young people, always after the latest, newfangled fads.  Stick with tradition.

Nothing wrong with my watch, and it's never caused me any wrist problems.
