neeray
Travelling around Asia, I am always appalled at the sight of bamboo scaffolding, workers in flip flops and a few sticks of rebar protruding out of a concrete column. Little wonder why these buildings sometimes collapse. Regrets (but not surprised) to read of one more construction collapse here.
Kaoboi Bebobp
Sad to report that Reuters says death toll is now 36. It's hard to look at the photos of the concrete floors literally collapsed one upon the other. Shockingly poor construction practices. https://ca.reuters.com/article/topNews/idCAKBN1Z401D
