Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has invited children to sit on his chair during their visit to the Government House on Children's Day (Saturday, January 11).

Government spokesperson Narumon Pinyosinwat said on Tuesday (January 7) the visit will take place from 8am to 3 pm.

“The prime minister will preside over the opening ceremony and presents gifts to the children,” she said. “It will present an opportunity for the children to sit on the prime minister’s chair, visit the Thai-Khu-Fah building, the prime minister’s office, and the Phakdeebodin building”.

Activities will include contests and exhibitions with educational contents and a display of vintage cars from Jesada Technik vehicle museum.

“Moreover, we will transform Naree Samosorn building into a news room for kids,” Narumon said.

Booths will be set up to offer gifts, souvenirs, foods, and drinks.

Looking at the faces of the 2 children on Cha chas left says it all.

Why the hell are we being dragged into this.????

Nicely spotted, how many times I've seen this expression on young faces when being dragged along to the twice monthly waste of time parade or something!
