Sounds interesting. They opened a fixed deposit for you. Just passport and proof of residence required? Or what documents did you have to bring?

moontang Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 CIMb does the senior deal at 1.75% for a year, monthly payouts, no tax withholdings up to 1.5 million. Just make sure you have a way to get an entry for the day of your extension..I simply added a 10K 6 month in the same book.
simon43 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 1.75% sounds terrible when compared to the 8% that my Lao savings account offers ... ???? 1

Is there deposit insurance? A few have found out the hard way there isn't any in Vietnam.
