Impeachment managers should forget the Senate and focus on the real jury: Voters

Given that's what I've been saying for ages I have to agree. The only "trial" that matters is in November.

Sadly for the Dems ( and happily for the rest of us ), in a good economy and no major war ( if that continues ) I believe it's almost unheard of for a sitting president to lose a re election.

So the only way the Dems win, IMO, is if the American people suffer a catastrophe, and who would wish that on them?

The impeachment sham was never about removing Trump (unless the Dems got lucky and stumbled on something).  It's always been about discrediting Trump enough to lose the election to one of the weak socialist Democrat candidates.

The "America First" doctrine marches on while those clutching their pearls over mean Trump focus all of their upset on the superficial -- things that don't peel votes away from Trump.  In the meantime, Trump's policies and programs are peeling away votes from demographic groups that will damage the Dem vote total.

I'm sure that Dems are doing all they can to damage Main Street and create some catastrophe that will harm the country and harm Trump.  Main Street would be collateral damage.  No biggie for Dems.  It's about GET TRUMP BECAUSE TRUMP.  That's always been the goal.

So was Bill Clinton, and he's doing very nicely.

I've said that a few times. IMO the Dems know they don't have any chance of winning against Trump ( which is why no decent candidates have even tried, IMO ), so they have to get rid of him before the election.

I wasn't aware you are a psychiatrist.

Unless you are, your opinion on psychiatric matters is just that- opinion.

Because having so many things to consider is too difficult for his base. It needs to be dumbed down.

This is a nonsense statement. A childlike playground style insult which is very unlike the way grown people should talk about issues.  The original statement re emoluments was simply an untruth.

Firstly, read this again...............Trump settled three different fraud lawsuits related to his Trump University for $25 million. Earlier this month, as the New York Attorney General Letitia James formally announced, the president was “forced to pay $2 million for misusing charitable funds for his own political gain,” and his Trump Foundation was “shut down for its misconduct.”

trump has been found guilty of misusing charitable funds, and of misconduct with regards to funding and has been forced to pay $2 million.

The reason those events that are listed have not been included in the impeachment process is because no current POTUS has ever been convicted of such crimes, and the process for doing so is unprecedented, and is not even clear in the constitution whether this is allowable or not.

So basically, following those lines this POS could do just about anything with regards to fraudulent activity and get away with it, however if he weren't president he would be taken to court and probably convicted.

The fact that this impeachment focuses on certain aspects is because they are easily definable as being "impeachable offences" whereas fraud, misusing/stealing charitable funds and running a scam are not – – go figure.

It basically means that the man is a crook, but little can be done about it at the moment apart from forcing him to pay back the monies.

Absolute nonsense.

I suggest you consult a psychiatrist and ask them. Many many have agreed. Cant seem to find one that agrees with you.

Yes, there are hundreds if not thousands of people who are found 'not guilty' every year.  Life goes on.

With a big asterisk that it was THE most partisan impeachment in US history ( failing even full support of their own party),  the only to include vague articles unsupported by alleged statutory crimes, and that it failed miserably in the Senate.... and Durham should show up sometime in the summer by the way...ouch that's gonna hurt (maybe? Just a little bit? Or like a hammer blow to an already demoralized party?)
