Hello, which irrigation timers do you use for 1/2" pipe for your garden? I found one, but it inhibits water pressure, because the valve is too small. It seems hard to find good valve systems here, or am I just not looking in the right places?

Thank you.

You could get a powered solenoid valve mated with a separate timer and battery setup.

Thanks for the tip regarding the solenoid valves. They might be what I need. they throughput does not look as good as in the standard PVC red nob valves: 83452481_2599284207060356_17305989910804

But I will keep looking, thanks!

I bought 4 on Aliexpress recently. US$11.00 each and they run on AA batteries.  Their fairly easy to program.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, which ones did you get, there are a ton of them out there. How is the throughput compared to standard red knob valves?

Thanks!

UMMM how does a manual opening valve have anything to do with your post wanting better electronic timer valves ???

I just want to show how big the valve opening is compared to the electronic ones. The throughput is much higher in the manual one. I am not sure I can get similar throughput with electronic ones, because I am already testing one electronic one with bad throughput.

Haven't measured!  The sellers probably list water flow on the listing.  Mine are Green with a clear screw on water proof lid to keep the electrics dry.  I had 3 prior to moving up from Pattaya.  I haven't found those ones yet......it's only been 6 years so there is a chance they will turn up!

I think in the end you would be better using multiple outlets and zoning out your grow area. You can put in a 2 " valve but if you dont have the pressure and flow rates to make use of it you are not going to increase your end result.

It's easy to measure manually by looking at the sprinkler radius with and without the timer. I use this one: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/buy-1-get-1-free-gift-automatic-digital-lcd-electronic-home-water-timer-garden-irrigation-controller-programs-waterproof-i110791478-s112811168.html

It's OKay, fairly ok to program, but the throughput is lacking a bit.

I agree, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Well a 1" valve might do the trick, but I am just looking for specific product recommendations. I will need 10-20 of these automatic devices.. maybe more. I don't want to buy and test all the products on the market and the local shops don't have what I need, so I might be lost in translation.

Great, thanks, will check them out. @rice555 do you by any chance know if they would have high throughput valves for 1/2 inch pipes?

Oooh, and how do you contact these guys? Aaah, found it: http://www.superproducts.co.th/THAI_web/1home/develop online.html
