MoU signed for pilot 5G service at airports

The National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission (NBTC) on Wednesday (January 22) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Airports of Thailand Pcl (AOT) for cooperation in a feasibility study and operation of 5G telecommunication service at airports.

Pattaya: Brazen snatch thief robs Chinese tourist just 50 meters from a police booth

PHUKET: The 10-year-old Chinese boy confined to isolation at Vachira Phuket Hospital yesterday on suspicion of carrying the Wuhan flu has tested negative for the virus and will rejoin his parents today (Jan 23), Phuket Provincial Health Office (PPHO) Chief Thanit Sermkaew has confirmed.

Two things Thailand is famous for are its delicious street food and its wonderful beaches. Sadly, the first typically comes in plastic bags that often wash up on the second -- not good for a country that relies on tourism for a fifth of its revenue.

Public Health Minister joins anti-PM2.5 campaign in Lumpini Park

PHUKET:-- Following the first turtle nest of the season hatching at Thai Muang Beach on Sunday, a further 49 eggs hatched on Tuesday night (Jan 21) from a second nest laid on Bor Dan Beach, also in Thai Muang, Kongkiat Kittiwatanawong, Chief of the Phuket Marine Biological Centre (PMBC), has confirmed.
