Accommodation search Phnom Penh / websites

Featured Replies

Are there any websites like www.renthub.in.th (or ddproperty.com) for Cambodia/ Phnom Penh?

I am looking for websites that are not specifically targeting foreigners (with high priced fully-furnished appartments).

(Renthub basically shows you the whole market - from 1000 Baht rooms to 100K multi bedroom condos...)

(Other advice also appreciated: I am looking for inexpensive accommodation 6 month -1 year.  I actually prefer to be a little "outside" of main tourist/commercial/entertainment areas. I saw there are public buses and Grab available. To give you an idea,  In the moment I am living 99% Thai occupied high rise apartment with old and minimally furnished rooms (but 5G WiFi ... and ample car parking space for my neighbours 555) in Chiang Mai - and I actually enjoy it more than fully furnished and decorated place I stayed before)

Plenty of AirBnB apartments for around 500bht/night, some offer 50% discount for monthly stays.

Best to book something there for a week or two, and take your time looking around.

I've never found online a good place to fine long term rentals.

And if in English, they tend to be very overpriced.

I can find shared apartments (private room shared kitchen) for 6,000bht/month.

Here's one https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/255671818

There TONS of apts in new old buildings, price range from $250-$2,000/month

Get a room in a hotel when you arrive and than look in the area you want to be in.
some nice ones across the Tonle sap..

Odd, because I can find exactly the same deals as I was getting in Chiang Mai.

5,000bht, 6,000bht, 7,000bht a month.

i have seen some $200 apts in PP, nope not for me.

Even way back in 2008 when i lived there, i was paying $400/month for a 1 bedroom...its a great place to live.

of course it was full furnished, maid 2days/week, free internet/cable and a balcony over looking the Tonle sap river, across from street 136.. (Chroy Changvar) .   Great views
