Currently their is no empirical proof whatsoever that African and M.E,  tribal cultural  practises will eventually replace the cultural norms of Western countries.

just an example: we in France have no blasphemy law. Today a teen age french girl is under threat because she criticisez Islam. Period.

  • And the WHO population predictions for 2050 show that these primitive, backward looking cultures of Middle East and North Africa will inherit the Earth.     The least developed and most war-

  • Let me cut their nut sack with a rusty dull knife slowly see how that feels.

  • Who could argue with that? In my homeland, the UK, a new case of FGM is reported every hour. Yet the cowardly authorities continue to turn a politically-correct blind eye to the problem - as they did

Arse5634 every country, but she will be protected. To insinuate this type of activity will lead to the end of our cultures is, IMO, ridiculous.

This is not correct. FGM is carried out by both the Christian and Islamic communities in Egypt It is also condemned by the religious leaders of both of them. Historical studies indicate that it very likely predates both religions.

Yes but you have to face facts ,its mainly Muslims who carry it out , especially those in Africa ,but in the west we have been closed down by the thought police and are now to frightened to say or do anything against this faith ,apart from the fact that if you do say anything ,you get death threats .

"Most of them do not take the cases seriously because they believe that it is for the benefit of the girl to undergo female circumcision for the protection of her chastity," said Eldanbouki, executive director of the Women's Center for Guidance and Legal Awareness.

Yeah right. About as effective a deterrent as forcing your woman to wear a hajib, or the more extreme burka, to ward off potential suitors. Just extreme paranoia, and extreme lack of self esteem, confidence, trust, understanding, and spirituality. Alot of very insecure men, forcing their women to do crazy stuff, behave in ways they would not dream of on their own, and pure, unadulterated extremism, and a medieval mindset.

Most American men have experienced 'genital cutting', how come nobody worries about them?

What is ridiculous is to think that foreign cultures brought by populations from those régions of the world will not impact our way of life, our democracies.

What percentage of Muslim men have been circumcised?

How is that less barbaric?

I don't believe any human children should have bits of their body removed/mutilated/altered to satisfy the beliefs of their parents (or culture). It's child abuse plain and simple.

If people wish to modify their own bodies as informed adults, no problem, cut away.

She should not have to be protected, To be threatened in your homeland by people with foreign roots in the name of foreign culture or religion, that is the problem. More and more people realize it, and express their opinions about topics such as the O.P

What you previously posted was "cultures of Middle East and North Africa will inherit the Earth." which is utter nonsense promoted by the extreme right of centre.

Looks like they are well on the way, at least.

According to a report from the same source you quoted, "Muslims will grow more than twice as fast as the overall world population between 2015 and 2060, and in the second half of this century will likely surpass Christians as the world’s largest religious group".

There is a vast difference between cutting a small portion of skin off a baby's penis . which is just for cleanliness ,(it used to be done in some British hospitals years ago) and taking off a young girls clitoris  and sowing up her vagina.

All child abusers claim it didn't harm the child.

But whichever way, I'm still thinking body modification should be an adults own decision about their own body.

Female genital mutilation (FGM), also known as female genital cutting and female circumcision, is the ritual cutting or removal of some or all of the external female genitalia. The practice is found in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, and within communities from countries in which FGM is common.

"Irrespective of culture, religion or country" would be the correct phrasing of what I really meant to say; thank you for the correction!

My gf had it done when a baby. Luckily it wasnt the full monty.

She had a slight incision about 3 or 4mm of the skin. Exposing the clitoris. Sorry i cant describe it better as im certainly no dr. It has had no effect on her sex drive or enjoyment.

She is lucky her culture doesnt allow the whole hog.
