Not the job or responsibility of the Senate to complete the House’s investigation, but that okay yes?

The senate wasnt an investigation. It was supposed to be a trial. But it wasnt.

Trials have witnesses. Okay yes?

Perhaps  your time would be better spent trying to do something about your own corrupt government, instead of whining about ours, after all we are number one in the world, we are doing fine without the advice of the trailers.

Let me see if I understand your dribble correctly. You are telling me I do not have the right to comment here. Is that correct?

"Trailers". What exactly are you referring to here?

For those who do not understand the basics of Law and how the Consitution framed Impeachment and the subsequent rules and conventions pout in place - go do some research - try Wikipeadia

My quick summary of the current 'arrangements'. The House conducts the investigations. The House views the results of the investigation and votes on yes/no.  If Yes the House sends the case to the Senate.  The Senate conducts a trial based on the case presented by the House. The Senate votes whether guilty or not guilty.  Think of it this way. The Police investigate. The Prosecution conducts the trial based on the Police investigations.

Because there are no set rules and regulations about how the House can conduct its investigations, in fact they can set their own rules and regluations, the process followed by the Dems is a complete breakaway from the last impeachment investigation rules and regluations followed (Clinton).

The Police can always continue their investigations after a Trial, but the prosecutor cannot and does not investigate anything while conducting the trial other than what is directly related to the case prepared by the Police.

The Dems knbew this and that is why they deliberately controlled/blocked the GOP participation in their investigations. The Dems did not investigate anything about the corruption of Biden et al, becausae they didnt want that in the trial.

By any impartial measure the Dems have conducted a partisan and corrupted investigation - and just like Nancy handing out gold pens, it is all a political farce. They were locked into this from 2016 onwards. They hate Trump because he is tearing apart the Obama disaster and pulling back all their progressive globalist policies and changes - just like he said he would.  He was supposed to have colluded with Russia - but that fake story and the illegal investigations failed - so they had to find another reason to start impeachment - which of course they found with the aid of partisan hacks and disgruntled swapers.

Witnesses in the clinton trial never gave evidence in the house. Go figure.

So CNN was trying to schedule interview (but never did) and they claim they never got the interview because the Times believes he was going to announce the Biden investigation.

So why did the House not compel the witnesses to testify during the impeachment?

Go back and read again.

The interview was scheduled.  According to Zelinsky's aides he was going to announce the nonsensical investigations.  However after the news about the whistleblower came out and the aid was released he canceled the interview.

The house did not compel witnesses to testify because it would have tied up the proceeding for months if not years while Trump took every subpoena to testify to court and appealed every adverse ruling.

You really cannot believe anything you hear on CNN.  They are a running joke.

Read the post again.  It's not that difficult.  Note the tense of the verbs in which questions are asked.  Zakaria did not know what Zelensky was going to announce when the interview was canceled.  He learned later.

It's over... the dems had their chance. 3 years of litigation, Mueller investigation, no evidence, House trial, no evidence, it's over. Now the dems have to resurrect Hillary Clinton. Clinton will be the nominee and she will lose again. If the American's want Trump out, they will now have to vote him out. The investigation of Trump is over.

:clap2:
