A Chonburi based mother woke in a fright to discover that her 12 year old daughter was missing from the family home in the Country Park estate in Muang district.

"Pern", 31, called the police immediately at 7.30 am on Monday. Her daughter had a history of sleepwalking but was nowhere in the housing estate.

Pramuan the security guard then said that he had seen the young girl walk out of the estate towards a bridge at 6.15 am. He had been busy with people in their cars going to work and he had only seen her from behind.

Her father frantically went to search for her at the Ban Sakputsa school but she wasn't there.

But police found her wandering on a road two kilometers from home and she was returned to her parents.

Sleepwalking is suspected.

Glad to hear she´s ok, and they found her.

Nice to hear she was found but that makes the post somewhat irrelevant?
