Pattaya disco: Patrons (and staff) set to be sent home if they are "too hot"

A senior executive at Hollywood Disco in Pattaya told Sophon Cable TV that his business had invested in a swanky new thermometer to check on the temperature of patrons.

The device cost 15,900 baht (tax not included) and Damrongkiat Pinitkarn hopes that it will inspire confidence that has taken a knock since the outbreak of the new coronavirus.

The purchase followed a crisis meeting. Damronkiat accepted that people were concerned about going out to places like discos and pubs where there were a lot of people in close proximity and where there might be limited ventilation.

He said that anyone with a temperature of 38C will be barred entry at the door.

That went for staff too who are being checked daily.

If they were too hot they would be sent home.

I suddenly came to remember that Joe Cocker song...." you can leave your mask on"..

He needs a pair of those things for that lady.

Is 'too hot' possible?

They didn't spot me having a high temperature. Mind you, I did have a bag of ice cubes down my trousers.

The hotter the better, they have no self esteem!

The coronaviris isn't the only disease I'm worried about catching in Thailand ????

Seeing a rack like that on the girl would instantly make me too hot to be admitted.

When I walk around Pattaya these days, I wear a facemask on my face and one over my groin. You never know.

Do you need glasses?

Always cool down before you try to do something especially in Pattaya.

You never know when you're going to get raped, and I'm sure you rape so easily.

Perhaps another ten glasses of beer?

They still don't get it do they - contagious whilst asymptomatic. Never mind, if it makes them feel better. A bit like the face masks. I bought two in Pattaya yesterday, 100bt each, N95 apparently. So assuming they are genuine, and I put them on in the recommended air-tight way, and I cover my eyes - they're one use. Last me half a day maybe, like I have to take them off to eat. Ha! Totally pointless. Yeah, I might use them if I have to go into a really crowded immigration situation for any prolonged period of time, but as an everyday solution, give me a break.

That's it, send the hotties home and retain the healthy overweights! ????

Thank the gods for that lol ???? lol ????

I hope it gets cleaned every time after they stick it wherever they stick it.

What were the lyrics... It's getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes?

No wonder tourists stay away from Pattaya, the hot chicks have been send home...????

It's called "working" and paying the bills.  ????
