The girls - aged just 6 and 9 - screamed as they were dragged into the water near a banana boat. A female vendor on the beach called Wiphada, 60, saw what was happening and some tourists on the beach helped to hold onto the man. Somphot from Udon Thani was taken away by a police unit that was patrolling the crowded beach on the long holiday weekend. The vendor said that the drunk man was molesting the children and trying to remove their clothing.
