That unfortunately is too close to the truth.

It was crazy. Made me realise how many Thais dislike him.

And thats a fact !  were i live he is despised but they are afraid to rant openly.

I guess that the Thai public, are probably no different than most other people on the planet who are not aware that most leaders, political, military and business are by and large sociopaths and do not have the capacity for empathy or sympathy.

Bizarre photos of him yesterday. Smiling and waving? Jesus Christ.

Nothing on Youtube I guess they flagged it down.

Agree. And also the subject that cannot be spoken about is being spoken about. Times are a changing.

They expected him to act like a statesman not some celeb turning up for a gig waving to his fans.

He had time to change his clothes then? Or have you posted a pic from a time when his farmers are playing him up?

The string puppet that the elite (Amart) dangle before the media!

Its Indeed very worrying because there is in the video hardly anyone with a face mask !

Is that charlatan stood to his left ....... The health minister? Without a mask?

You would be surprised ... a lot

The man is ill suited, either in uniform or civilian attire.

Netizens have criticised Prayut for “failing to show enough deep sympathy for the victims”. Some said he acted more like a politician running a political campaign than one feeling sympathy and sharing sadness with the families of those who passed away or were injured.

More like an Army General running a political campaign.....!!

if you are a cold psychopath, you don't have any emotions

Simply stated, he lacks savoir fare, much like many of the current crop of leaders around the globe.

Maybe the PM needs a speech writer, as he cannot formulate the right words of

sympathy himself.

Geezer

Au Contraire Mr P. Many, many people know your intentions very well, absolutely no misunderstanding. You may also be a little surprised if you learnt just how many are more than uncomfortable with you.

besides it doesn't matter what his spin doctors come out with...

the videos and photos have already told his whole story

Yes that's part of the video but not all that seems to be only available now on Twitter.

How can they be surprised. Did they expect more from him? After nearly 6 years, you would think they know who he is by now, and what he is made of. He is an army general. He does not have compassion, or sympathy. It is simply too much to ask of him.

Yea right he wasn't too far off that.

Yes, my wife made much the same comment about this topic this morning.

The premier later said he, like the public, felt sad for the great loss of lives. He said that he has a strong intention to boost public morale, however he sometimes acts in ways that might make people misunderstand his intentions or feel uncomfortable with him.

A strong Intention to boost public morale? Kind of strange coming from him.

Didn't his paragraph 44 boost all morale. His intentions are reflecting his own personal well being only.
