Future Forward’s “Project Pinocchio” to target PM in censure debate

Thanathorn-Sentenced.png

The Future Forward party has been planning its censure debate against Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha since last October and has codenamed their strategy “Project Pinocchio”, party leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit told a news conference today at the party’s head office.

He explained the name, saying that this fictional character was always making mistakes and tried to cover up his mistakes until, in the end, the accumulated errors became so overwhelming that they could no longer be hidden.

Thanathorn likened the blunders of this Government to those committed by Pinocchio, but the Prime Minister, who has never been subjected to examination, has tried to hide the mistakes behind national security or has blamed corruption.

Perfect name, not just for the nose-growing reasons but also the issue of someone else pulling the strings!

Pinocchio was originally written as a cautionary tale and apparently, he ended up getting his just deserts! "In the original tale, Collodi describes him as a "rascal," "imp," "scapegrace," "disgrace," "ragamuffin," and "confirmed rogue," with even his father, carpenter Geppetto, referring to him as a "wretched boy."

If the cap fits.............

I hope they make him cry.  The man child cannot debate or face criticism.   He just prances around thinking he and all those of follow him are divine and above scrutiny.

They realise it fully.

Pinnochio is a coffin cheater. Hard to lay to rest.

Future Forward is the Thai people's only hope. But unfortunately they can't seem to stand.

They can make a very strong case that the government is not competent, should not have got a majority at the election and has members who do not qualify to in be any honest government at all.

But those listening must be people who can be swayed by the truth, not people hoping to be offered even more if they switch support.

The lies of the government are so many and massive - all of their noses should be 3 meters long. I wish the FFP would have more power and the "independent" courts would do their jobs. But I think it´s hopeless.

“Project Pinocchio” ... I like when somebody has a sense of humor , a rare find in politicians ... and it fits .

.

Long nose.........brown nose..........

Thumbs up to FFP.  A shame they have no guns whilst their opposition have cornered this market & allow any Tom, Dick or Harry to help themselves with tragic consequences.

The manure spreader is full and in the coming year will unload on the powers that be.

It will ultimately be a fertile outcome.
