Hi to all, I am so sorry to bother you always, but I am very confused.

My Thai girlfried and I gonna apply for a UK fiancee' visa in next may with the porpouse to get marry in UK in the next september.

At the moment she's working in Thailand and she have to give notice of leave to her boss ( 3 months )

Today I called her and she told me about her plan: show to the Embassy by a letter from her boss, that she will return in Thailand after the marriage in UK to finish her job. She said that will be more convincing for the Embassy.

I said no, it will be a disaster because we gonna apply for a fiancee' visa and it is like a settlement visa. If she gonna show that the, officer in the Embassy will not believe about our relationship and the visa will be refused.

Am I right?

Thanx

Yes, you are. The whole idea of a fiancé visa is that you are going to marry and settle in the UK. You don't need to demonstrate an intention to leave.

What do you want to do? Does she intend to return to Thailand? If you only want to visit the UK and get married then you apply for a 'Visit for marriage' visa which will allow her to visit UK, get married then return to Thailand.

She plan to come here to get marry and then go back to Thailand to finish her job untill the end of the year.

And when we will have to extend her visa how whe can do if we don't live together?

Toto,

Can you please decide whether you want to be Toto_ituk or Albatros. I know you're the same because you both have identical IP numbers.

If she intends to return to thailand after your marriage, she will then require another visa to come back.

I don't want that.

She think to have more chances to get the UK fiancee' visa.

I think we will lose if she will show to the Embassy her plan to go back.

Toto,

You and your girlfriend have to decide what you want to do.

If you want to apply for a fiancée visa for her, then that is possible. It costs £500.00 and you have to show to the visa officer that you intend to marry within 6 months, that you have enough money to take care of her, that you have somewhere for her to stay, and that, once married, you intend to live together permanently. Once you are married, your wife will be able to apply for a residence card issued on the basis that you are an Italian citizen working (I presume) in the UK. This application is free of charge. Alternatively, you can marry in Thailnad and apply for a family permit for your wife at the british embassy in bangkok. This application, too, would be free of charge.

If it's her plan to return to Thailand and continue working you should not apply for a fiancee visa but a visit for marriage visa. Then when you eventually decide to settle in UK you simply apply for a settlement visa. It's not whether she has more chance with one visa or the other, you should apply for the visa which suits your purpose.

Which one is the easier way?

Do u think that after the two previous refuses, we can have succes?

The "easier" and cheapest way is to marry in Thailand and then apply for the family permit. Providing that the various issues are properly addressed, there's no reason why she shouldn't get either a fiancée visa or a famiy permit.

So, is the female not pregnant? If your intended is not up the duff, you'll be sorted.; just get a certificate from the quack.

Google a bit more. You'll find these restrictions apply to the bride when she has been divorced, not to the groom.

Hi and Happy Easter to all,

Could someone tell me how can I show my plan to get marry in UK.

I can seem a little stupid but honestly I don't know how to do it.

I can't prebook the wedding date in the Register Office because they don't

make any book or any notice of marriage unsell my g/f she's not in the UK.

I don't have any proof, just the agreement between my g/f and I of the wedding date and the wedding rings boughted in Bkk with ournames engraved.

I don't think will be enought to apply for a fiancee' visa

THANX

The embassy will want to see that you have plans for the wedding. You can't book the register office now, but if you're having a party, you could show a guest list, a deposit for a venue, a deposit for a photographer, invitation cards etc. Anything which demonstrates that you do intend to marry on the specified date.

What I did was to explain in great detail about the date, the fact that we were unabe to secure an appointment and also I e-mailed the registra at Kent County Council and kept all mails and submitted those.

Good luck
