Pattaya: Brit attacked because of jealousy over having more custom than next door beer bar

A Thai lady who owns a beer bar has said that her foreign boyfriend was attacked because a neighboring bar owner has accused them of stealing his customers and was jealous of their success. 

 

Yuphawadee, 32, has a bar in a cluster of similar establishments. She said she bought it from the owner of the next door bar. 

 

But because her husband is a popular guy they enjoyed much more success than he did - her bar was full of expats drawn in by her man. 

 

This morning she told police that Adam S., aged 39, was attacked by the neighboring owner and two other men as they were packing up to go home at 5 am. 

 

He had bloody head and body wounds and was taken to a nearby hospital. 

 

She said there had been an ongoing feud and no one was talking to each other anymore.

 

Police are studying CCTV in an effort to crack the case, reported Channel 7.

Well, the farang should have known better. Everyone knows you are not allowed to be more successful than Thai run bars, so by the bar owner next doors unquestionably sound logic, he had it coming.

That’s a sure fire way of no one ever walking into that bar ever again .
