It goes way deeper than that.

The manipulative masterminds behind the Greta Project are at a first glance her own parents, her dad is a famous Swedish actor and mum a singer.
I know the High Priestess Greta who is morally superior is often seen with Luisa-Marie Neubauer.
Luisa is in turn a member of ONE Campaign, managed by Bill Gates and Bono and funded by our good friend George Soros.

I guess after that George obeys at the Freemason's altar and those in turn to Satan.
That sums it up I suppose.

I suspect you are like me one of the older guys here, so if you look back at your past life, did you think about climate change when lighting a bonfire, or use tins of spray containing CFC's, light household coal fires, drive cars with ridiculous MPG compared to today's rides, etc, etc.  ?

You are right - our awareness was pretty poor in the past. That doesn't mean we should continue to live in ignorance.

Greta should be arrested for causing a 'breech of the peace' like they do to conservative speakers, she just spouts empty rhetoric to the converted with no proof and cannot answer a single question. The German girl invites people to think for themselves, grumpy Greta tells them what they should be thinking. She seems to just ignore China and India when it comes to carbon emissions, it's just the west that is the problem to her.

It is not like that at all. Human endeaour inevitably causes emissions - nobody is denying that. What is being pointed out, however, is that the balance is way of kilter, and that humans are generating far more harmful byproducts than the planet can deal with. That bears no resemblance whatsoever to your ludicrous analogy.

Not so ludicrous actually. There is a whiff of hypocrisy about the whole movement.

Why are you mixing up science and politics? Could it be that the latter is influencing your take on the former?

So often we hear complaints about the youth of today being apathetic and narcissistic, however here we have yet another example of a young person who tries to make a difference, and they get howls of relentless abuse and all manner of criticisms from the very same people who frequently complain about the youth of today.

Of course, she has the unfortunate mix of being both a confident, assertive female and someone who believes in man-made climate change - a heady combination which is like catnip to a certain section of the (mostly) male population.

Rubbish, she is being abused by her handlers. The whole thing is a con. She didn't cross the Atlantic in a catamaran she sailed across on a 60ft yacht with a professional crew who all flew home after the crossing. Her body guards are Antifa yobos!

She also (as do a lot of paid scientists) ignore the fact that big yellow up there in the sky is a little big bigger than us and does as it wants, climate forcing and plasma cosmology she fails to address, no money to be made as it is beyond our control?

Yes, its to scale for those that are unsure.

The potential for trouble at Greta's rally is certainly serious.

Entire buildings are liable to be blown down by the gale of laughter which will greet the protesters, if they live up to their previous efforts at cosplay.

Hopefully The Greta Thunburg company can pick up the bill for her policing and not the British public, She should be at school or on a anger management course,

The climate science deniers deny that virtually every Academy of Sciences around the world - The USA, Europe, China, South America etc. all support and endorse the evidence that human activity is altering the worlds climate. The science deniers often focus on some small debate about the details but they fail to understand that the consensus is something like 97% of climate scientists agree that human activity is changing the worlds climate.

I recently saw a series of posts I think on facebook where a science denier was posting links from some fox news political entertainer as his PROOF that climate science was a hoax. Sorry, some TV hack with a high school education is not an expert on climate science.

I will trust the 10s of thousand of trained scientists around the world that have debated the issue and come to the consensus that human activity is changing the worlds climate.

Cue up the climate deniers..but...but..but...but...

Load of kids having a day off school No wonder it was mobbed.

The blue planet is going green—literally. Since the 1980s, satellite images have shown that leafy cover across the globe has grown by 2.3 percent per decade.

A new study, published February 11 in Nature Sustainability, helps explain why. One main driver is the "fertilization effect," brought about by humans burning fossil fuels. As CO2 increases in the atmosphere, this boosts photosynthesis—as long as water, light, and nutrients are not limited. When plants take up more of the gas, they produce more food and unfurl new leaves.

But researchers also found another cause for the change in hue: planting more crops and trees. China and India, the two most populous countries on Earth, have contributed about a third of the greening seen since 2000, mainly in the form of forests and farms.

I read NASA says up to 50% greener in places than in 1986. Maybe because plants love the extra CO2. I think humans need to think about the other organisms that have been here longer than us.

Co2 up to 800ppm is good for plants. So next 50 years great.

Of course the $ making doomsday people won't admit that.

Also an extra 0.5 to 1.5 degrees of warming good for humans. Cold kills far more.

Well if that were true Trump would be a super spreader. No, a mega spreader, the biggest most intelligent spreader in the world. He's certainly spread the most BS in his short time on this planet.

How green, well it used to be.

Before and after.

Usually baked beans and/or cabbage cause emissions in my case.

Some nations don't and never will give a B-R-A about 'emissions'.

Doesn't matter how many 'school kids' get all wound up about it.

The protesters disagree with her viewpoint , absolutely nothing to do with her age

You should keep her age out of it and stick to the subject

Three years ago the state heavy handily dealt with a father who took his daughter on holiday in school time.

Yesterday dozens of kids and their parents turned up in school time to watch a child truant with parental consent in the other direction deliver a cult sermon in Bristol.

You couldn't make it up...????
