These people make a mess of their own muslim countries - they have various factions fighting amongst themselves - then once they have destroyed what they have in their own countries they try to enter good old EU and once there they proceed on a path of destruction there too - sorry but that is the truth, the sooner the UK gets its border tightly shut the better and send them all back to where they came from If the prophet Muhamad is so great how come these vile people end up in such a mess 3 5

I have marked them out. I might have missed a couple. Gender statistic is available for migrants arriving by sea to the EU. For 2015 the number was 83% men. I struggle to find similar data for migrants arriving on foot. If we disregard how they arrived, the number is 63% men. https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php/Asylum_statistics#Age_and_gender_of_first-time_applicants

Popular Post JustAnotherHun Posted March 2, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 2, 2020 seems that Greece is willing to hold its land borders while hundreds of "asylum seekers" are invading Greek islands. The scenes there look like a civil war. Locals try to prevent migrant boats from landing, NGO members and journalists are attacked and the Greek government suspends applications for asylum for one month. 4
Popular Post nemo38 Posted March 2, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 2, 2020 We have seen multiculturalism is a failure. It has made the west a more violent and divided place. I'd gladly pay to house these people somewhere safe in Africa where they know they are 100% going home once the crisis has passed. The same goes for anyone who settled in the west in the last 30 years as an asylum seeker. They and their kids must go home. We only have one home. 5

Perhaps they could go to the seaside party town Latakia? https://edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2017/08/17/syria-latakia-beach-party-town-lon-orig-ejk.cnn In case you fancy visiting the place for a holiday in the sun, lots of trips available on Tripadvisor. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Vacation_Packages-g294010-Syria-Vacations.html For instance, Cote d'Azur de Cham Resort seems like a bargain. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g297903-d301087-Reviews-Cote_d_Azur_de_Cham_Resort_Lattakia-Lattakia_Lattakia_Governorate.html 5 1

It is possible for the UN, or some other body, to make a safe place in Africa where people can be housed and given a bag of rice a day until the crisis passes. It will take away incentives for economic migrants. Most people would kick in some cash to make this work, especially if problem foreign groups were repatriated out of the west as part of the package. I didn't move to Thailand. Lovely place though. Thai people, just like people from my country, don't want to be replaced in their own country.

Popular Post gk10002000 Posted March 2, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 2, 2020 I do understand the immigration thing, both from a refugee point of view and from those that are just trying to move to what they hope is a better place. But storming a border of a country and breaking that country's laws is tantamount to invading the country. 7

In Germany, it would take 8 years for an asylum seeker to achieve full German citizenship and be able to move freely within the EU, by which time they and their family would have learned German, found employment, attended German schools. Why would they then want to move to the UK?
