A Thai woman has admitted to selling 200,000 recycled face masks on Facebook for 3 baht each.

She was running an illegal second hand dealership in Saraburi in central Thailand.

The masks were on sale via Facebook over the last 20 days.

The news follows a raid in the Wiharn Daeng area of Saraburi in central Thailand conducted by the district chief, police and health department officials.

There were six workers - three are being prosecuted and three are turning state's evidence.

Arrested was 47 year old owner Jintana Namwichai who will appear in court today facing three serious charges that could see her jailed for years.

The charges relate to selling items deceptively covering up their origin for which a jail term of 3 years and or a fine of 6,000 baht can be the penalty.

She is also charged with illegally operating a second hand business and fraud.

Other establishments in the area that are possibly part of the supply chain are under investigation as the inquiry develops.

Masks have little effect, can become a virus bomb instead of providing protection. Who is the dumbest: the buyer or seller?

Here I quote Forrest Gump. "Stupid is as stupid does."

"Mama always said "dying is a part of life". This crazy bit ch was trying to help.

Pretty good deal. I just ordered 30.

Smart buy.  Even better deals on her re-purposed condoms, TP and feminine hygiene products.  A satang saved is a satang earned ????

The only thing they are good at 'Inventing' is another scam; as soon as a situation arises where they can make money out of other people's misfortune they will go for it every time, they just can't resist it !

Moths to a flame.
