As for a wired connction we can explain that with bad wiring......but today my wireless Hutch went down while it was raining and came back just after the rain stopped. :o

well how is it possible that within seconds a bit of rain can wipe out my internet connection

who needs censorship just make it rain

Happens to me all the time , rain means > finish whatever I am doing online right now because the internet is about to go down.

Usually it seems to be the DNS servers going down.

I still have ADSL line signal and so it shows that I am connected on my modem except nothing is happening anymore. So all LED on the TOT ADSL modem says its OK but no internet :o

Still wondering why DNS servers would go down just because of the rain but then again TIT :D

I don't take any notice of the weather sites. That's why I'd prefer an on the scene report.

I think someone was giving you a hint there fella to check it out yourself. If I told you the weather today, it would be no indication of the weather tomorrow. Best to check the weather site, it cant hurt

I can only give you the weather for Bangkok, I'm afraid.
