Latest craze ?

Recommended Posts

A couple of weeks ago i parked next to a nice Pajero in white, what was strange was it clearly said PAJERO SPROT on the hood/bonnet in chrome lettering. At the time i did wonder if the owner was aware of the spelling mistake.

Today, on the highway , i passed a Volvo s60 in a striking red colour, on the back in chrome lettering it clearly said VOLOV !!

Both cars were new models ( IMO ) not some old bangers !!

Has anyone seen any examples of this ?

p.s. my long distance vision is good and I hadn’t been drinking ????

Can't imagine that they came out of the factory like that, but it wouldn't surprise me if they had been for accident repairs and came out of the shop with misspellings.

On Sukhumvit road, Pattaya I often passed a motorcycle shop (near to the junction with Soi Muslim) with vinyl flags outside bearing the brand name HODNA. Never thought to take a photo, but I will if it's still there.

Yup, that’s probably the only reasonable answer but it just seems crazy that the owner wouldn’t see the mistake and have it corrected .

I French Connection UK'ing laughed out loud at that one!

I'm just glad we're past the watershed and can use double entendres.

This brand car, I have seen it driving with 'Rover Range' on the hood.

That’s what I’m talking about !!

They must take the letters off, respray, then put them back on by memory !! , doesn’t make sense but they are out there !

Maybe the “craze” fashion.

This car sticker is very craze also (stupid IMO).

It always say (translate) “This car is green car” (or different color)

But it never true. Eg, nobody put “This car is green car” sticker on the green car.

There was a young Arab lived close to our place in Saudi Arabia with a red Mustang. (or something like that) and he'd had the well known phrase 'Born to be Wild' stuck across the rear. Unfortunately, whoever stuck the letters on placed the 'W' upside down. We always had a good giggle whenever we saw it.

I had an idiot headmaster who was called Wilf. We had fun too on several displays...

I remember seeing a Mercedes cabriolet at Boonthavorn, looked like a car on which some money was spent, and had a very special color as well.

The only thing strange was that it had a BARBUS logo on the trunk
