Hello guys!

Last month I went to the immigration for the marriage visa extension application, they gave me a stamp and asked to report back at the IO in Chiang Mai on the 20th of March (they already came for the visit).

Do I need to go early to get a ticket number? I remember they told me to go at 1 PM but I'm not sure... also, what documents do I need to provide them?

Thank you!????

Not sure you will need a queue number. Perhaps just show them what you are there for and they will let you go to the desk to get your extension stamp.

You will only need is your passport unless you used the 400k baht in the bank option and they told you to bring a copy of your updated bank book to prove it is still in the bank.

Thanks Joe. It is a pain in Chiang Mai going through the queue because there are thousands of people going there every day. but recently they separated the office for short and long term stays so maybe it will be a bit better.
