Great, thank you to both.  I am in Koh Kong now, interesting to know.  I wonder if this means that other land borders with Cambodia will also soon close.  As Ubonjoe mentioned, some of those land borders with Cambodia are the last ways to cross out of Thailand.

If I were you I would jump on a tuk tuk and head to the border right away.

 

If you can't get over I would book a taxi to Phnom Penh asap.

 

You dont want to end up stuck and/or sick in Koh Kong

The last thing I saw in the news is that they are closing all crossing with the exception of the Aran/Poipet crossing.

Thanks... I wasn't planning to go back to Thailand now but am monitoring the situation.

 

Good advice re going to Phnom Penh, I will consider that.

At time Thailand is not issuing 15 day visas on arrival for the 19 countries that qualify for them.

Or do you actually mean a 30 day visa exempt entry. You can still get one if flying in since all of the land border crossing are closed at this time.
