Hi there, this is more of a question. I have my TM6 and husband’s TM6 filled up just now prior departure. I realize it has corresponding number and bar code. Now in my bag during the arrival it got mixed up. But i stapled them into our passports to make sure they wont get lost. Are they strict with this? It’s just that I don't know which form/number/barcode was for me or my husband’s.
thank you any advise is helpful. We are both leaving today.

It isn't a big problem. Even if your TM6 is lost you can just fill out the departure portion of a new one and use that.

So either you can each fill out a new TM6 or ask Immigration at the airport to check online which belongs to whom.

I don't understand this post.

When you fill in the TM-6 departure/arrival card you are supposed to fill in both parts (each containing your name).

Did you only fill in the arrival part for yourself and your husband?

Anyway, it's not a big deal, and even if you did it wrong, on departure they will notice this and change the forms now stapled in your and your husbands passports.

I'm surprised the IO didn't insist you fill out the Departure side of the card when you arrived, but nevertheless, as has already been stated, people do sometimes lose their cards while in country and it's no problem at the airport to fill out a new one on departure.

No problem.....I lose mine n most trips and then pick a new one up before showing my passport.....just discard the arrival part and you are good to go.

Thank you, it wasn’t a problem at the airport. I was just worried that they might be strict. Happy to be back in Canada.
