Thai immigration chief Lt-Gen Sompong Chingduang briefed the press on the arrest of a Chinese national who bought a job lot of surgical masks from a factory near Bangkok airport and advertised them for sale at inflated prices.

MELBOURNE (Reuters) - Australian officials closed Sydney's iconic Bondi Beach on Saturday after thousands of people flocked there in recent days, defying social distancing orders to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, amid an unusually warm autumn spell.

Two new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Phuket

 

The news came via a table released by the Phuket office of the Public Relations Department (PR Phuket) this morning (Mar 21).

More border crossings closed

 

 

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Ministry of the Interior has acted on an order from Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, to close border checkpoints by ending special trade posts and restricting permanent border crossings to only one per province.
