BTS lift guy who shocked netizens with disgusting behavior is arrested - He's a 32 year old Thai

Daily News reported that the man who shocked netizens with filthy behavior in a BTS lift has been arrested.

 

The man caught on CCTV at the National Stadium station touched his groin area and smeared his saliva on various areas within the elevator.

 

Pathumwan police said they arrested a man at 6pm on Friday.

 

He is a 32 year old Thai man said to have minor mental health issues.

 

He is being held as his history and health is checked.

I saw yesterday that they were saying he was a foreigner - yet again.

in times of crisis, it becomes paternal and patriotic.  so i'm not surprised they wanted this person to be an "outsider"..the farang.  money was the most important, until health gets involved.  health trumps everything.

 

this is how real wars start.  right now many have nothing to lose.  markets down 99.999999999%.

Moreover, some of the Thai's infected in the Thong Lo cluster are saying there was no one in the group from Hong Kong as the government and media have been reporting. It was "Thai on Thai" transmission. 

 

One Thai infected in the Thong Lo cluster said he was refused admission to the hospital because he told the hospital staff the hadn't been in contact with foreigners. Because of this the hospital sent him home. 

 

So according to this guy: if you haven't met a foreigner you can't be possibly be infected.

If Im going to die, I would prefer it to be with a smile on my face because I am joining the universe, vis a vis screaming and crying and thrashing about in fear because Im scared.

This stuff happens in all countries,this time it was caught on camera and he is a Thai National according to reports. In a time of need and confusion and uncertainty the good people and good politicians rise to the occasion. Some are totally lost and confused and don’t know how to cope. They say and do things that at the time seem ok to them,but in reality they are just trying to make themselves look good in the eyes of the public. If you can point the blame at someone or something whether it be true or not,the attention is then focused on them and not yourself.

It doesn’t matter if he is Thai,Korean,Chinese,European, it was totally unacceptable for him to do this,and hopefully he is punished for his actions. And I hope the minister puts this us and them attitude to bed and gets on trying to fix the situation we all are facing here in Thailand.

That seemed like anti foreigner propaganda. On all the Thai facebook threads were saying he was a Brit. The guy was clearly Asian. Good on the Thai police for catching the selfish grub and publishing the truth. Credit where credit is due
