My non Immigrant B "runs out" in two weeks.

My questions are:

-can this visa be extended?

-where is the closest place to go to apply for another Non B? I heard Vientienne may be a chance.

Thanks all

you can apply for an extension up to one year at a thai immigration office

Visa CAN NOT be extended!

Entry permit can be extended - if you have a work permit, and your employer qualifies to sponsor you.

Qualifying employer: 2,000,000 baht paid in capital and four Thai employees per foreign worker - and paying you qualifying salary.

Good luck!

Correct. An entry permit based on a Class B visa can only be extended if you have a work permit AND your employer qualifies to sponsor you for an extended entry permit.

Good luck!

Does what Steve say also hold true for a regular 90 day extension within the first year - even though I do not yet have a work permit to go with the non-B visa??

Thanks so much
