LONDON (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s senior adviser on Monday denied a weekend newspaper report that he had prioritised herd immunity and the economy in the coronavirus crisis at the expense of pensioners dying.

The Sunday Times reported that Dominic Cummings at the end of February had outlined the government’s strategy as “herd immunity, protect the economy and if that means some pensioners die, too bad.”

When asked by Reuters if he had said the quote attributed to him and whether the report was accurate, Cummings said: “No. Of course not. No.”

He was correct, instead, the world has opted to <deleted> the world economy leading to massive company closures and job losses and probably more deaths as a result of it, suicides will go through the roof. This morning on Facebook a thai guy said that was one of his options

Look what the majority of British have voted, Incredible !

Do you seriously think we'd have voted for people who would say such a thing before knowing that they were even going to say it.

That's even if someone is gullible to believe it was actually said.

We might be stupid but we're not that stupid nor can we see into the future.

How is this news?

An unnamed person alleges someone's adviser said something nasty. But has zero evidence to back it up. Jesus wept.

Well those who believe it have stripped the shelves at Tesco's.....

Small correction - not the majority of Brits; not even the majority of voters. Unfortunately, however, we are shackled with a very unfair electoral system that gives complete power to these people despite the majority recognising them for the corrupt, base and incompetent shower they truly are.

But if whatever party you support had won in the same way, you would be jumping up and down with glee shouting "The people have spoken".

It’s a small point but nevertheless I think an important one; nobody voted for Cummings.

Tgat said, he is running the country so perhaps confusion on the matter is understandable.
