webfact
Pattaya shows its heart! Top hotel sends message to everyone battling Covid-19 Picture: 77kaoded A leading Pattaya hotel is sending a message of hope to all Thais and medical personnel battling the Covid-19/coronavirus outbreak. The Grande Centre Point near terminal 21 in north Pattaya is turning on the nights in selected rooms from 7.30 - 8pm to make the shape of a heart. A highly nationalistic article published by 77kaoded said that Thais do not forget each other in a crisis. Other examples of "nam jai" (kindness) have been the donation of masks to frontline medical staff and the sending of comforting messages, they said.
